There's a recap of Namor and the Human Torch's origins from Marvel Comics #1 and his battle and subsequent reconciliation with the Human Torch, which seems to rely more on Marvels #1 than the actual Golden Age issues like Marvel Mystery Comics #8-10 or Human Torch #5A.The MCP places this sometime after the end of both the 70s and 90s Invaders series, with a lot of actual Golden Age comics in between. Review/plot: The unfortunately short lived Marvel Universe comic was going to explore all different aspects of the pre-FF#1 Marvel Universe. Title: "The Spoils of War" / "Tomorrow Belongs To Me" / "The Eve of Destruction" Issue(s): Marvel Universe #1, Marvel Universe #2, Marvel Universe #3 Savage and his Leatherneck Raiders #2-4Ĭaptain America/Nick Fury: The Otherworld War
